So my boyfriend just bought me the new zune hd and i was so happy come to download the software and it comes up with a run time erorr saying "the application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please Contact the application's support team for more information" I click OK and another message comes up saying "The exception unknown software exception(0x40000015) occurred in the application at location 07813461a. Click OK to terminate the program Click Cancel to debug the program"
so i clicked cancel but nothing happend.

I googled around and i found this site

i followed the steps, i waited for the windows to do an update and it said it finshed and was completed.
So re downloaded the zune software just to receive the same error message.

Someone please give me some help.
And make it easy for me to understand, links are helpful.

Oh and i cleaned my comp and did a registry clean using ccleaner.

Please someone post back with some help, i really just want to use my new zune.

I need the Following Information about the Windows your Running on your PC because Windows Xp, Vista and Windows 7 are the only Supported on Zune Software.

And on Windows XP you need to be on Service Pack 2 Also Known As SP2
Zune software won't work on versions of Windows earlier than Windows XP SP2, any 64-bit version of Windows XP, or any version of Windows Server.
