I broke my mom's old acoustic guitar by dropping it on the floor. The wood didn't crack. However, the body of the guitar is starting to separate from the neck, and the body itself is starting to separate. If the guitar was a shirt, then the seams would be ripping, but the fabric would be in tact.

Please let me know if I can use hot glue to fix this (the standard kind that you use with a glue gun). If not, please suggest a glue for me (nothing too expensive, please).

Bonds materials other adhesives simply can't: metal, wood...

That damage is unrepairable. You destroyed the truss rods and neck releif. Glue will hold it together (Gorilla Glue is the best) but it wont make the proper musical notes ever again.
